An invitation:
All artists who live or have a studio in Ozaukee or Washington Counties
are invited to submit entries for the 2008 Cedarburg Artists Annual Fall
Show.
Theme of the show:
The theme of the show is No Boundaries.
Type of work:
All media are acceptable. All work must be the artist's own original concept,
design and execution, completed within the past 3-5 years, and not previously
exhibited at the CCC or in a CAG show. Each piece must be clearly labeled
on the back, properly framed or mounted and ready to hang or display in
a case. Framed pieces must include wire- no notch tooth hangers. Oils
or acrylics that are framed or that have painted edges must be completely
dry.
Number of entries:
Not more than TWO entries may be submitted by any one artist. Only one
piece from each artist may exceed 36" in width.
Jury fees:
CAG members may enter free. Non-members pay $35, which includes jury fee
and CAG annual membership through the end of 2008.
Entry procedure:
Work will be accepted on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 from 10-5 at the Cedarburg
Cultural Center. Art will be juried that evening.
Artwork not selected must be picked up at the CCC on August 28, 2008 from
10-5. Work that is accepted into the show must be picked up following
the close of the show on Tuesday, November 4, 2008. Artists who are unavailable
on the pick up date should make arrangements with a friend for pick up.
After two weeks art becomes the property of the Cultural Center. In addition,
there will be no storage of packaging materials.
Awards:
Three blue ribbons ($100 cash prize) and five awards of distinction ($50
cash prize) will be given.
Sales:
The Cedarburg Cultural Center retains a 35% handling fee on all items
sold during the exhibition.
Liability:
All artwork accepted for the 2008 Cedarburg Artists Guild
Annual Fall Show will be insured for the amount indicated under „price‰
on the registration form, from delivery through return in November.
Agreement:
Submission of work indicates acceptance of all conditions set forth. You
may include clear, sharply focused black and white or color photos of
your work for advertising purposes. All art accepted and installed in
the show must remain in the show until it closes. Exceptions will be handled
at the discretion of the Cedarburg Cultural Center‚s Director and
staff.

Wed. 8/27 - Deliver art to CCC between 10 & 5
Wed. 8/27 - Art juried
Thurs. 8/28 - Pick up of declined artwork, 10-5
Tues. 9/2 -Show opens
Fri., 9/5 - RECEPTION 6-9PM
October 10, 11 and 12 - Arts Weekend
Sun. 11/2 - Show closes
Tues., Nov. 4 ONLY- Pickup of art at CCC, between 10AM and 5PM. Please
note, there is no pickup of work on Sunday
